The NFL on Tuesday suspended Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay for six games and fined him $500,000 for his bizarre drugged driving arrest. Earlier in the day, Irsay pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Irsay was arrested in March while driving with oxycodone and hydrocodone in his system. He also had $29,000 in cash and several bottles of prescription painkillers in the car when he was stopped, according to police.
