Pregnant Chelsea Clinton quits $600K NBC job
Chelsea Clinton is leaving her role as a special correspondent at NBC News in order to, as she wrote on her Facebook page, "continue focusing on my work at the Clinton Foundation... as Marc and I look forward to welcoming our first child."
Clinton has been working for the network since 2011, and according to Politico, had an annual salary of $600,000 — the equivalent of "$26,724 for every minute she was on-air."
"Chelsea's storytelling inspired people across the country and showcased the real power we have as individuals to make a difference in our communities. While she will be missed, we look forward to working with her in the future," Senior Vice President of NBC News Alex Wallace said.

While Clinton's on-air debut led the The Washington Post to call her "one of the most boring people of her era," some of her recent work has included a one-on-one interview with the Geico Gecko, a segment with actor Jeff Bridges detailing his fight to end childhood hunger, and a segment called "Homework Diner Serves Up Education With a Side of Food."
