Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a secret wedding last weekend
In a move befitting the super spy skills of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie managed to sneak away for a secret wedding last weekend without a single paparazzo crashing the ceremony. Today, a spokesman confirmed that Pitt and Jolie got married in "a small chapel in a private ceremony attended by family and friends" last Saturday.
The nondenominational ceremony was held in a chapel in Chateau Miraval, France. Sons Maddox and Pax escorted Jolie down the aisle; daughters Zahara and Vivienne served as flower girls; daughter Shiloh and son Knox served as ringbearers.
This is the second marriage for Pitt, who was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005, and the third for Jolie, who was married to Jonny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999, and Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003.
