Emmy winner Julianna Margulies: 'What a wonderful time for women on television'

Julianna Margulies, who just won the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama for The Good Wife, began her speech by offering a tribute to her fellow nominees. "What a wonderful time for women on television," she said, to the enthusiastic applause of the audience.

Margulies went on to thank the show's entire creative team, including "our writers, who never cease to amaze me with 22 episodes a year." She also had some choice words for co-star Josh Charles, who asked to be written out of the show earlier this year: "I miss you every day. What were you thinking?!"
