Report: Obama knew of ISIS threat to kill James Foley

The White House knew that ISIS had recently threatened to kill journalist James Foley as payback for U.S. airstrikes aimed at pushing back the militant group's advances in Iraq, according to ABC News.

On Tuesday, ISIS released a graphic video showing Foley's beheading. Foley disappeared in Syria in 2012.
