After much speculation about Community's fate — NBC pulled the plug on the sitcom, and Hulu backed out of a resurrection deal — Yahoo stepped in to bring the show a step closer to its #sixseasonsandamovie goal. Now, Yahoo has released the first teaser trailer for the sitcom, and it really wants fans to get on board with the new outlet.
The teaser is a clever compilation of old footage from the first five seasons, which includes nods to the show's troubled past. The clip concludes with Annie (Alison Brie) taping a "saved Community" paper star to a Yahoo-marked door.
