Watch as the Broadway cast of Aladdin pays tribute to Robin Williams
It was a tribute from one genie to another.
During Tuesday night's performance of Aladdin on Broadway, the Genie — James Monroe Iglehart — led the rest of the cast and audience in a singalong of "Friend Like Me" in honor of the late Robin Williams. Before the show, Iglehart told Quartz, "Robin Williams has influenced my life greatly; his performance as the Genie, of course, and his entire career as a great performer and actor." Watch the salute to Williams below. --Catherine Garcia
