Report: Brazilian presidential candidate Eduardo Campos dies in plane crash

Brazilian presidential candidate Eduardo Campos died Wednesday in a plane crash in the city of Santos, according to multiple reports. Globo News first reported that Campos died when the small plane in which he was flying went down. A government official in Santos later confirmed the news to the Associated Press, though Campos' political party and campaign have yet to comment.
Six others reportedly died in the crash, including a campaign photographer and press aide.
Santos was one of the three leading candidates heading into October's presidential election.
