Watch original footage from Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart's 1945 wedding

On Tuesday, legendary Hollywood actress Lauren Bacall died from a massive stroke. She was 89.

One of the few surviving actresses from Hollywood's golden era, Lauren Bacall's big-screen debut came when she starred opposite Humphrey Bogart in 1944's To Have and Have Not. A year later, they were married, leading to one of Hollywood's most legendary creative and romantic partnerships.

This archival clip from Paramount News invites fans to the Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield's Ohio farmstead, where Bacall and Bogart got hitched. The cameras capture Bacall as she tossed her bouquet to a host of well-wishers, and the couple standing together as they cut into their wedding cake. --Scott Meslow
