A dead two-headed dolphin washed onto a beach in western Turkey. The Associated Press reports that Tugrul Metin, a gym teacher, was on vacation in Dikili in Turkey's Izmir province when he noticed the two-headed calf.
Scientists at Akdeniz University will study the dolphin, which marine biologist Mehmet Gokoglu told the AP was a "rare occurrence, similar to conjoined twins."
