Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk announces resignation
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Thursday abruptly announced he would resign due to the fledgling government's failed attempts at forging a stable government, according to multiple reports.
Yatsenyuk reportedly announced his intention to step down after two parties backed out of a governing coalition. "I am announcing my resignation in connect with the collapse of the coalition," he said, according to the Associated Press.
The announcement comes one month after Ukraine swore in new President Petro Poroshenko.
