Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has completed his counseling at a Texas army hospital and may return to active duty as early as Monday, according to Defense Department officials.

The New York Times reports that Bergdahl will "return to life as a regular Army soldier" after being an outpatient at a San Antonio hospital for roughly three weeks. As he underwent therapy and counseling, Bergdahl was also debriefed about his time as a Taliban prisoner.
