And then there was one. Co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are out at The View, leaving Whoopi Goldberg as the sole holdover.
TMZ first reported that ABC executives let Shepherd go on Thursday afternoon. She more or less confirmed it in a tweet: "The number 7 is God's number of completion & after 7 seasons my time at The View is now complete! So grateful 2 every1 4 their love & support."
McCarthy also turned to Twitter to announce "If Sherri goes... I go too. #sisters." Later, she tweeted, "My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year... We will be back."

Shepherd joined the Barbara Walters–helmed panel in 2007, and McCarthy came aboard last September to replace Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasslebeck. Walters left the show in May, but is still an executive producer. There is no word yet on who will replace the departing hosts.
