Americans have less faith in Congress than in any other institution — ever

Congress is the worst, Gallup confirms in a new poll out Thursday.

Just 7 percent of adults have confidence in the legislature, the lowest level on record. Worse, that figure is the lowest Gallup has ever recorded for any major institution in 41 years of polling the issue.
