Congress is the worst, Gallup confirms in a new poll out Thursday.
Just 7 percent of adults have confidence in the legislature, the lowest level on record. Worse, that figure is the lowest Gallup has ever recorded for any major institution in 41 years of polling the issue.
Taken together with Congress' dismal 16 percent approval rating, the latest figure is yet another sign why 2014 might see an anti-incumbent wave election.
