Giant black bear brazenly scouts Alaskan baseball game

American Legion baseball fans were watching a game in Juneau, Alaska on Sunday when an unexpected scout showed up behind the left-field fence, reports ESPN.
Right off the bat (see what I did there?) in the video below, you hear, "Big bear out there!" and then "Look at the bear!" and even "Here he comes! Do you see him, Mom?" This being Alaska, though, no one seems remotely frightened.
Archipelago Webcasting's video gives us some extra information on the sighting: "The Bear is a black bear who probably was just hoping to find some peace and quiet. The game was halted until we were sure what the bear's intentions were."

If I were the outfielder hanging around near the fence, I would have wanted to be reaaaal sure about that visitor's intentions. Watch the bear prowl the perimeter, to the crowd's amusement, in the video below. --Sarah Eberspacher
