Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is scheduled to arrive back in the United States overnight, government officials said today. The former prisoner of war will be transported to the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio after midnight. He won't be making any public appearances and the media won't be allowed access at the hospital.
Bergdahl was released May 31 after being detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan for three years.
