Despite news that she had shelved plans to attend the events in Brazil because of unspecified "production issues," a rep for Jennifer Lopez told People that she will indeed perform at the World Cup's opening ceremonies on Thursday. "We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics," the rep said. "Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of futbol."

Lopez will appear with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte to sing the World Cup's official song "We Are One (Ole Ola)." The performance is expected to be a tribute to "Brazil and its treasures: nature, people, football."
