Despite the serious injuries Tracy Morgan sustained in a multi-vehicle accident over the weekend, FXX, the comedy-centric network from FX, said it will keep going forward with his new show. Morgan is now recovering in a New Jersey hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.
In April, FXX ordered ten episodes of "The Untitled Tracy Morgan Project," which were slated to go into production in August.
"At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him," FXX said in a statement. "Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families."
The show remains scheduled for a January 2015 premiere.
