Rafael Nadal added to his legacy on Sunday, defeating Novak Djokovic in four sets to claim his record ninth French Open title. He has now won five straight tournaments at Roland Garros, and is 66-1 in his career there.
Moreover, with the win Nadal tied Pete Sampras with his 14th major title.
Djokovic started strong, but it seemed as though the heat or illness got to him midway through the match when he threw up on the court.
