Marvel taps Peyton Reed to direct Ant-Man

Ant-Man's troubles may finally be limited to creating a compelling superhero story about a guy that becomes a really strong insect.
Marvel announced today that Peyton Reed will direct the film, and Adam McKay will help pen the script. McKay backed out of directing, and Marvel had since been on the hunt for a new choice. Reed's background is primarily in television and romantic comedies (The Breakup, Yes Man, and my personal favorite, Bring It On), notes Deadline.
So congrats, Paul Rudd (set to star as the titular character) and Michael Douglas: You'll be taking direction from the guy who brought us "toros in the atmosphere."
