You can finally exit group texts in Apple's new iOS 8

Apple unwrapped a refreshed version of its iPhone operating system, aptly named iOS 8, and while there are plenty of important updates — like a predictive keyboard, refreshed notifications, and a health app — the ability to exit those sometimes overwhelming group texts is the feature we're most excited about.

It's about time Apple recognized that there's nothing worse than being plopped down in the middle of a conversation you want no part of. And if you can't commit to completely leaving a group chat about Sunday's brunch plans, there's also a "Do Not Disturb" option.
