White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's departure has been largely overshadowed by this weekend's news cycle, but CNN's Jake Tapper still asked panelist Margaret Talev to weight in on the resignation's Friday timing on Inside Politics earlier today.
"(Obama) will not get the same amount of coverage for not replacing Jay with a woman," Talev, from Bloomberg News, explained. "A lot of speculation on whether this would be finally a female press secretary under Obama. It will not be."
Talev continued with her analysis, notes Breitbart, before Tapper eventually wrapped the segment up, saying, "President Obama likes his bros, he likes his bros."
