'Manhattanhenge' a dud, makes Sarah Jessica Parker sad

"Manhattanhenge" was supposed to be a beautiful sight: At around 8 p.m., the sun was to set in line with the east-west cross streets of Manhattan, giving viewers a visual treat like this one from 2013:

Instead, it was cloudy, and disappointed crowds saw a whole lot of nothing. Actress Sarah Jessica Parker was one of those sad faces:

At least there was some beauty in the clouds:

Don't worry, New Yorkers. If the weather improves tomorrow, the Manhattanhenge should be visible. If not, there will be a repeat July 12. Or, you can make your own sunset, like this creative person. --Catherine Garcia
