A police officer, a rabbi, a scoutmaster, a fire department paramedic, and a youth baseball coach are among the roughly 70 people charged with creating and distributing child pornography, law enforcement officials said Wednesday. All the arrests came from a huge bust in or around New York City.

In a month-long investigation, federal agents teamed up with New York authorities to track suspects on peer-to-peer file sharing networks. In one instance, investigators found a New York Police Department officer was allegedly using Skype to solicit naked images of children over the internet. Investigators said they believe the arrests, and the hardware seized in the sting, will lead to "hundreds" more arrests.
