For those who have everything: The guitar doorbell
A doorbell that's also a half-size guitar — and more in our collection of bizarrely elite consumer products
Sometimes you want a theme song to play when you enter a room; other times, you just want one chord. The GuitDoorbell ($130) can handle that second task. Attach the kit's trophy board above any inward-swinging door and you can lock the fully functioning halfsize guitar in place so that it plays an open chord whenever the door opens. An F major with an added ninth, perhaps? Because the guitar can be easily removed, "if you're ever not expecting visitors, you can even have a little jam session with your doorbell," says Michael Baxter at TrendHunter.
