To celebrate Earth Day, NASA invited everyone on the planet with a Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Flickr, or Instagram account to upload a photo of their corner of the world with the hashtag #GlobalSelfie. NASA plans on using the pictures to create a mosaic image of the Earth, for release in May. Here's a tiny sample of the #GlobalSelfies on Twitter right now. --Catherine Garcia
