Thousands gather in Moscow to protest Crimea occupation

Shouting, "Hands off Ukraine!" and "The occupation of Crimea is Russia's disgrace!" tens of thousands gathered in Moscow to protest the country's invasion in Ukraine on Saturday.

The protest comes a day ahead of Crimea's vote on whether to secede and join Russia. It's also a visual reminder that while the Russian government's stance on Crimea is firm, its people are not as wholly supportive as Vladimir Putin might like.
