Craigslist ad invites you to hook up with Scarlett Johansson
In Jonathan Glazer's enigmatic Under the Skin, Scarlett Johansson plays an alien who seduces and preys on unsuspecting Scottish men — but if a recent Craigslist ad uncovered by Indiewire is an indication, the character has come across the pond to harvest new victims.
The New York City-based Craigslist post is titled "are y0u alone?" — which hearkens back to a viral website designed to promote Under the Skin. The ad offers a coy, seductive picture of Johansson, and invites anyone who's intrigued by its garbled message to respond:
If you're feeling brave, reply and see what happens — but if you end up getting seduced and killed by a beautiful alien woman, don't come complaining to us.
