Since we may have reached peak bobblehead, baseball teams are coming up with all sorts of wacky new promotions to draw in fans this year. Hence, the Rays will give out Mr. Potato Head dolls resembling their manager, while the Mets will have Huey Lewis and the News, 50 Cent, and Boyz II Men perform after games (though not, unfortunately, all at once).
But the Toledo Mud Hens, the Detroit Tigers' Triple-A affiliate, are outdoing everyone. On May 30, the team will wear Ghostbusters-inspired jerseys to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic film. No word yet on whether Slimer will bat cleanup.
