The demand for Dominique Ansel's famous cronuts reached new heights when the bakery introduced a new online pre-ordering system, which crashed the minute the pastries went on sale. Angry foodies in need of their cronut fix took to Twitter to lament the outage, with more than one user calling the website less functional than Healthcare.gov.
