The gunman holding hostages in an eastern Paris kosher supermarket threatened to kill them if police assault the two cornered Charlie Hebdo suspects, a police official told The Associated Press.
The official also described the supermarket hostage situation as "clearly linked" to Paris' other hostage situation, where the two brothers suspected in Wednesday's attacks are cornered, reportedly with at least one hostage.
