Boston will bid to host the 2024 Olympics
Boston will represent the U.S. in the bid to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the United States Olympic Committee announced Thursday.
International bid submissions aren't due until September, so don't hold your breath, Bostonians. We won't know which city will play host to the summer games until 2017.
Boston beat out Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., for the right to represent the U.S. to the International Olympic Committee.
