Between James Bond, Jason Bourne, and Jack Bauer, men have had the super-spy genre locked up for decades — but that's bound to change with this summer's upcoming action-comedy Spy, which reteams Melissa McCarthy with Bridesmaids director Paul Feig.
The first trailer for Spy introduces McCarthy as Susan Cooper, a C.I.A. analyst who takes to the field to recover a nuclear device. Disguised as "Penny Morgan, divorced housewife from Iowa," Susan takes on the high-stakes mission over the skepticism of super-spies Jason Statham and Jude Law.
Spy hits theaters on May 22.
