Page Six reports that Ann Curry, 58, has officially ended her contract with NBC. Curry left the Today show in 2012.
NBC is expected to announce Curry's exit deal shortly, according to Page Six. The news comes after "weeks of negotiations to end her contract," which was reportedly worth as much as $12 million a year.
An unnamed NBC insider told Page Six that Curry "has been unhappy for a long time because she's basically doing nothing, while NBC is unhappy that she has been paid a lot of money to do nothing."

After leaving Today, Curry was named an NBC News national and international correspondent and a Today anchor-at-large. Page Six reports that Curry is planning to start her own production company, which will provide reports to multiple news outlets, including NBC.
