Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas) on Tuesday apologized for comparing President Obama to Hitler in a tweet about the president's absence from Sunday's anti-terror rally in Paris. "It was not my intention to trivialize the Holocaust nor to compare the President to Adolf Hitler," Weber said in a statement, adding that he "now realize[s] that the use of Hitler invokes pain and emotional trauma."

Weber has yet to delete the offending tweet. --Jon Terbush
