Fifty Shades of Grey is Fandango's fastest-selling R-rated movie ever

Fifty Shades of Grey doesn't hit theaters until Feb. 13, but it's already making Fandango plenty of ticket money.
Variety reports that the film is already Fandango's fastest-selling R-rated movie ever. The previous record was held by Sex and the City 2.
Fifty Shades is also setting a Fandango record for the biggest first week of ticket sales for a non-sequel, Variety notes. That spot was previously held by the first Hunger Games film in 2012.
