In another sign of how far his star has fallen, only 29 percent of Republicans want New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) to run for president, according to a CBS poll released Sunday. Meanwhile 44 percent of Republicans in the survey said they do not want Christie to join the 2016 race.

For comparison's sake, only Sarah Palin posted a worse net rating in the poll. Though 30 percent of respondents said they want her to run, 59 percent said "no" to the thought of a Palin White House bid.
