Seattle Seahawks apologize for tweet conflating Russell Wilson and Martin Luther King, Jr.

Riding high on their stunning last-minute victory over the Green Bay Packers in yesterday's NFC championship, it's easy to understand why the Seattle Seahawks are so high on their quarterback, Russell Wilson.

But the team's official Twitter account took the praise a bit too far when it commemorated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a tweet that seemed to conflate Wilson's accomplishments on the football field with King's accomplishments in civil rights:
