Bridge collapse in Cincinnati kills construction worker
A construction worker is dead and a semi-truck driver injured after a bridge undergoing demolition collapsed on Interstate 75 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The incident took place at about 10:30 p.m., and the stretch of highway near Hopple Street will be closed for up to two days, Cincinnati.com reports. Crew are working on "a plan of action" to remove the construction worker, police said, and the truck driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Authorities do not yet know what caused the collapse. —Catherine Garcia
