When Comedy Central roasted Charlie Sheen in 2011, it was hard to imagine the network would ever land a bigger or more obvious target again. How wrong we were. In 2015, Comedy Central will host a roast of Justin Bieber.
In a press release, Comedy Central's Kent Alterman explained that Bieber has actually been lobbying for his own roast for ages. "Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We're thrilled he listened," he said.
Comedy Central has yet to set an air date for the special, but comedians who want to take a shot at the Biebs should have plenty of time to sharpen their material. (Pro tip: start with that time he abandoned his pet monkey in Germany.)
