Apple is paying its retail boss a lot more than it pays Tim Cook
Apple is paying retail boss Angela Ahrendts an astonishing $73.4 million in cash and stock, according to a filing from Apple Inc. Apple CEO Tim Cook, meanwhile, earned $9.22 million last year.
Ahrendts previously worked as the CEO of Burberry, where she made roughly $37 million, according to Business Insider. She officially joined Apple last May.
Business Insider notes that one of Ahrendts' major duties this year will be selling the Apple Watch in Apple stores.
