Browns QB Johnny Manziel has gone to rehab
Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel entered a treatment program last week, a spokesman for the polarizing player revealed Monday.
"Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend, and teammate and he thought the offseason was the right time to take this step," the spokesperson, Brad Beckweth, said.
Since college, Manziel has faced questions about whether he has a drinking problem that interferes with his on-field performance. In his first pro season with the Browns last year, the team fined Manziel an undisclosed amount for being late to a practice after a night of partying.
