Marion "Suge" Knight has been charged with murder and attempted murder after he allegedly ran two men over, killing one, last Thursday on the set of a movie.
The 49-year-old former rap music mogul's $2.2-million bail was also revoked, with Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida telling the Los Angeles Times it was yanked because Knight was a "possible flight risk [and] three-strike candidate" and there were "possible witness intimidation issues."
Lt. John Corina with the Sheriff's Department said that an argument broke out between Knight and Terry Carter and Cle "Bone" Sloan on the set of Straight Outta Compton, the NWA biopic, and Carter was killed after being run over. Knight's attorney, James E. Blatt, told the Times that Knight was assaulted and accidentally ran the men over while trying to flee. Knight is due to appear in a court in Compton on Tuesday.
