Twitter CEO: 'We suck' at dealing with abuse and trolls

Twitter CEO Dick Costolo conceded in an internal memo that the company is terrible at snuffing out abuse on the social network.

"We suck at dealing with abuse and trolls on the platform and we've sucked at it for years," he wrote in the memo, which was obtained by The Verge.

After a series of high-profile harassment incidents last year year, Twitter released new tools that streamlined the process of reporting abuse.
