After the terror attacks in Paris last month, Paris authorities have banned the filming of action movies within the city.

Officials are worried that police chases and actors in military uniforms could create targets for terrorists. "Fake weapons and pyrotechnic effects" have also been banned, The Associated Press reports.

"There's a problem with these action-type scenes, as the actors in uniform could be targets for terrorists," police commander Sylvie Barnaud told AP. "Also, the actors could pose confusion for the general public during this highly sensitive period."
