Marvel introduces its first all-female Avengers team

Marvel is retiring Earth's Mightiest Heroes — and Earth's Mightiest Heroines are primed to take their place. Today, the comic-book giant announced that the traditional Avengers lineup will be shelved in favor of the A-Force, the first Avengers team made up entire of female superheroes.
The A-Force is headlined by She-Hulk, working alongside superheroines including Dazzler, Medusa, and Nico Minoru:
"We've purposefully assembled a team composed of different characters from disparate parts of the Marvel U, with very different power sets, identities, and ideologies," said series co-writer G. Willow Wilson in a statement. The A-Force will debut in May.
