A new Alien movie is on its way from 20th Century Fox, Variety reports.

This venture is separate from Fox and Ridley Scott's Prometheus 2, which is loosely based on the Alien franchise. Sources say it will take place years after the Prometheus sequel, and it's unclear if Weaver is attached.
