Obama: 'Ugly lie' to say U.S. at war with Islam

President Obama on Thursday doubled down on his argument that the U.S. is at war not with radical Islam, but rather with terrorists in general.
"The notion that the West is at war with Islam is an ugly lie," Obama said in an address on the last day of the White House's summit on violent extremism. "And all of us, regardless of faith, have a responsibility to reject it."
Obama come under fire Wednesday for proposing more nuanced terminology to understand and confront extremism around the world.
