The United Kingdom is being treated to a spectacular show of the Aurora Borealis. The BBC put together this video of time-lapse photos of the Northern Lights show, taken in northwestern England by photographer Ian Glendinning. Well, most of the photos are time-lapse — the last one is a slow-exposure beauty that looks like something from the paintbrush of Vincent Van Gogh. It's Friday: Enjoy the show. —Peter Weber
