French police searching for mysterious drones seen over Paris
Although it's illegal to fly drones over urban areas in France, several of them have been spotted over Paris.
The drones were seen near the Eiffel Tower, the U.S. embassy, and the Interior Ministry on Monday and Tuesday nights, raising concerns about surveillance. Paris is already on high alert after last month's terrorist attacks in the city.
Police are searching for the drones' pilots, and a Paris prosecutor has asked for police to investigate. The police don't yet know whether the drones were connected or how many were involved, but The Wall Street Journal reports that the drone investigation is not related to antiterrorism efforts.
